Art Roundup, week of March 11th

The common theme from last week’s posts on DeviantArt revolve around a vine that bloomed in my neighboorhood last year. While on a walk I found a slew of hanging plants complete with vibrant colored petals. There’s also a fresh image to my Premium gallery, featuring all the dogs I can find and photograph. If you see any images here that aren’t available on Natural Desygns or SM Desygns reach out to me through the Etsy store and I’ll add the image to the correct store. In the meantime, click any of the images to head over to DeviantArt to get a better look.

When spring firmly takes hold, I need to take more walks. Aside from the health benefits that come with the jaunts, at that time, there are some amazing plants that grow in my neighborhood. While I’m not sure what plant I stumbled onto last April, the beautiful purple petals hang down and contrast with the verdant greens of the vines behind them. This simple and wild bit of flora reminds me of how deep and magnificent nature can be.

Here’s another entry to my Man’s Best Friend gallery. While all dogs are amazing, I will be focusing on mine for the time being. Click here and buy access to this growing collection of watercolor renditions of these furry companions.

While there are years, I don’t get snow, when snow falls, my dog loves to play in it. Technically, she loves trying to catch snowballs with her mouth. Whenever I wake up to find a white coating on the ground, I let Ivy out and create some snowballs from the snow off the deck. With everything prepared, I toss the balls out and watch my dog jump and snap her jaws around the snow. Unfortunately for her, since it’s made of snow, the ball instantly falls apart. She quickly dismisses the quandary and searches for more off the ground. So, I snapped a picture of her once she sat down to stare at me as she protected her corner of the snow.
